After-School Chicago Program ‘Invests in Chess’

The program “Invest in Chess,” founded by a University of Chicago student, teaches chess to Chicago Public Schools students who want to learn how to play. “It doesn’t matter what academic or social background you have,” Nichole Matthews says. “We all can come together and play and learn and receive the same benefits from chess.” NBC 5’s Sabrina Santucci reports.
