DECATUR COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – An autopsy is scheduled Thursday on a 15-year-old girl, killed in a crash in Decatur County.
The accident happened shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday on County Road Northeast 80.
Investigators say the driver, 18-year-old William Redd lost control of the car, and it rolled over off the side of the road.
Rebecca Wessel, 15, was ejected from the car.
Redd was able to crawl out of the car before it caught on fire.
Wessel was taken to Decatur County Memorial Hospital where she died.
Redd is in an Indianapolis hospital with injuries to his shoulder and leg.
The accident remains under investigation.
