Blagojevich delivers Top Ten list on Letterman

Deposed Gov. Rod Blagojevich paid a return visit to “The Late Show David Letterman” Wednesday to field jokes — mostly about his hair.

Blagojevich, who is scheduled for a federal corruption trial this summer, will also be appearing Sunday as one of the contestants in the season debut of Donald Trump’s reality show, “Celebrity Apprentice.”

In his appearance Wednesday night on the show at New York’s Ed Sullivan Theater, the former governor delivered the answers to “The top ten things Rod Blagojevich asked himself before appearing on `Celebrity Apprentice.”‘

No. 10 was “Can I get paid in shampoo?” No. 5 was “Can I get paid in conditioner?” And the No. 1 question was “Will my hair get along with Trump’s Hair?”

Blagojevich’s list also took a jab at scandal-plagued New York Gov. David Paterson. No. 2 was “How come I’m not a governor, but Paterson is?”

At the end of the list, Letterman handed Blagojevich a bouquet of roses as Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra played “Sweet Home Chicago” as performed by the Blues Brothers.

Only one question referred to Blagojevich’s legal problems. It was No. 8, “Should I bring my attorney?”

On “Celebrity Apprentice,” Blagojevich will be competing alongside Cyndi Lauper, Bret Michaels, Sharon Osborne, Holly Robinson Peete and Daryl Strawberry, among others.
