I've finally figured out what's bothering me about this whole situation for the last two months. You two could do so much more for racing as a couple that you may ever do individually. There's never been a couple like you two in racing. Now and in the future, you could've been ambassadors as jockeys and later as commentators on racings biggest stages across North America and you folks would've been beloved like royalty. Two great athletes that know the sport inside and out and light up the camera too. Unbelievable. As for influencing young people of all walks of life, how big a statement would it have been to say that, in the free world, you actually can have it all as long as there's respect, understanding, and a willingness to work at things especially when times are tough. That's the message I'd what for my young daughter and son. And, if you ever did have children, folks would wait on those children to grow up as potential jockeys as they are for Zenyatta's offspring to be race horses. Not fair to your children but at least they would have the best teachers. It's time for people to stop hating on both of you and understand as my mentor once told me as an aspiring basketball coach, you can always make more money but time is life's greatest commodity because once it's gone, you can never get it back. Let's hope time has allowed you two to see through the discord and envision the life you could have together now and in the future. Racing needs you two as bright lights but hopefully you both find that you need each other more.

Does Chicago Park District really have all that extra money to install this 'art'?

Until I read they were dead trees I was appalled every time I drove past. Not happy with the direction the city has been headed politically. It just gave me extra ammunition.

Bad timing by the Park District!!
