Join Chicago Women in Publishing (CWIP) as we kickoff our 2014–2015 programming year! Learn about the exciting programs in store for CWIP while you enjoy a fun evening with our speaker Annie Passanisi, Director of Marketing, Events, and Glitter at Polymathic. Annie will use her one-of-a-kind combination of education, inspiration, and humor to show us why we should focus on connecting rather than traditional “networking.”
Enjoy tasty hors d’oeuvres, visit with friends, make new connections, and help us celebrate 42 years of giving our members the keys to opening doors. Attendees receive a drink ticket and one raffle ticket to win a free CWIP membership and a mystery box of books to enjoy for the rest of the year. Cash bar also available. We will also be collecting paperback and soft cover books for Chicago Books to Women in Prison. To find the kinds of books they need, go to http://chicagobwp.org/how-to-help/donations/. In addition, anyone who joins or renews their CWIP membership at the Kickoff will get a 20% discount.
