Cops: Tips lead to factory fire arrests

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – Connersville Police are crediting students at the Connersville Middle School and High School for information that led to the arrests of two juveniles connected to a fire that destroyed a downtown factory.

Police say they also cited two others for trespassing. Both were released on home detention.

Officers tell 24-Hour News 8 they questioned the four teens on Monday.

On Sunday, the Creative Fixtures commercial property caught fire and quickly engulfed the building.

The fire also spread to a structure just north of the building.

A court hearing is scheduled for all four teens later this week.
