Chicago – The CTA is number one for crashing into things. Since 2008, they’ve been in more crashes each year than the nine other largest public bus systems in the country.
On average CTA buses are involved in an accident every day, according to records compiled by the Federal Transit Administration.
The CTA said it’s not happy with the numbers, but said they are focusing on employees learning defensive-driving techniques.
