Fridge Art Takes Over Michigan Ave.

Chicago – It might sound like junk, but the city calls it art. Nine recycled refrigerators have been transformed into public art along the Magnificent Mile.

The Fine Art Fridges are part of a promotion for ComEd’s appliance recycling program.

ComEd has recycled 43,000 refrigerators since the start of the program.

They fridges will be in place until September 15.
