ELKHART — The Logan County Habitat for Humanity will build its first home in Elkhart.
The new home of Kurt and April Young and their children is Logan County’s 14th Habitat home. It will be constructed at 300 Stellar St.
“Habitat welcomes the public to the official groundbreaking for the home at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21,” said Karen Sams Davis of Habitat.
Two-by-fours will be sold at the ground breaking for $5 each to help finance the house.
Purchasers will be asked to sign their names on the two-by-fours, which will be used in construction of the home.
Construction is scheduled to start the first of April, weather permitting.
