How Cold Did It Get Tuesday Morning Across Chicago Area

A day after the Chicago area saw its lowest-recorded high temperature on a New Year’s Day, residents woke up Tuesday to continued dangerously frigid temps with wind chills as low as -32 degrees.

As wind chill warnings remain in effect for several counties, here’s a look at temperatures and wind chills recorded by the National Weather Service for areas throughout the Chicago area:
