INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Metro Police arrest a man they say is a known gang member for shooting a member of a rival gang.
Police were called to East 10th Street and North Temple Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
They say they found five friends and one of them was suffering from a gunshot to the calf.
Police say the five are members of a gang commonly known as ESG.
The five told police members of a rival gang shot at them as they drove by the group.
Police arrested Maurice Harris for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness, and carrying a handgun without a license.
