Chicago Cubs manager Lou Piniella will headline the third annual Cubs Caravan luncheon on Wednesday, Jan. 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Tickets for the luncheon are $100 each and include a buffet lunch and the opportunity to sit at a table with a Cubs player, coach or member of the front office staff.
Cubs announcers Len Kasper and Bob Brenly are expected to attend. Player participation will be announced shortly.
“The luncheon is a highlight of the annual Cubs Caravan and a chance for fans to get to know our players, coaches and those who make the organization hum,” said Mike Lufrano, Cubs senior vice president, community affairs.
“We thank Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse for hosting us and making this event possible.”
Proceeds from the lunch benefit Chicago Cubs Charities. Tickets are available for purchase beginning Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 10:00 a.m. by calling 773-404-CUBS.
Space is limited to 120 guests. Admission includes lunch at Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse (33 W. Kinzie Street, Chicago) and the opportunity to hear Manager Lou Piniella speak about the upcoming season in an intimate setting with a Cubs representative seated at each table.
Players and personnel appearing at the luncheon are subject to change.
