Nominations Being Accepted for the Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame, Recognizing Contributions to Natural Resources Protection and Outdoor Recreation

The Illinois Conservation Foundation is accepting nominations of women and men with a passion for the outdoors for induction into the Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame.

Nominees should be individuals who have made significant contributions or exhibited unparalleled dedication in preserving, promoting, enhancing or supporting natural resources or outdoor recreational opportunities in Illinois.

All nominations must be submitted on the official Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame nomination form available on the Illinois Conservation Foundation (ICF) Web site at ilcf.org.

The deadline to submit nominations has been extended. Completed nomination forms and accompanying supporting documents should be submitted no later than Oct. 16, 2009.

The inductees selected for the Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame will be announced this fall and will be honored at the annual Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame Banquet, scheduled to be held on March 13, 2010 at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois.
