Chicago, Illinois – “LUST is only “SIN” deep. A sister’s betrayal leaves a threat of death staring everyone involved dead in the face!
SIN, The Lustful Stage Play has an important message, deadly disease awareness, outstanding music, uplifting performances and entertaining value will have the guest leaving the show with a kaleidoscope of emotions. SIN, The Lustful Stage Play has already been the talk of the town. A “must see” event.
SIN, the stage play is about an African American housewife who gets bored with her life. She decides to act on her feelings of lust. Just one night. Who will it hurt? No one will ever know.
Little did she know, that one night of indiscretion will turn out to be the biggest mistake of her life. Her betrayal leaves a threat of death staring everyone involved dead in the face! Sin clearly establish the devastating consequences of adultery.
SIN, was written as a contributing short story to an anthology called, “The Shattered Glass Effect”. It is a forceful, thought-provoking anthology containing a diverse collection of short stories centered on HIV/AIDS issues. It is about the consequences and outcome (whether positive or negative) that affects everyone involved.
SIN, the stage play, although will be a joyful, entertaining event, it will have a powerful message. The play will set out to show that getting a positive HIV/AIDS diagnosis can happen, if you are not aware of how your emotions can lead to actions that will forever change your life. We all hear the facts and assume that we will not become one of the statistics. It’ll never happen to me. Things like this, don’t happen to people like us.
The author, director and the entire production crew hope that attending this amazing stage play will allow for more open discussions on action that can be taken to help prevent new HIV/AIDS cases.
In the African American community, the HIV/AIDS epidemic is hugely growing each day. SIN, the stage play will leave the playgoers breathless, crying, feeling renewed and most importantly thinking twice about the virus that “Can’t’ Happen To You!”
