The application effectively runs as a secured web-site, hosted on your company’s network, so that it can be accessed from anywhere – including an iPhone, Android, Desktop PC, iPad, or Windows Mobile device. Vice-President of Operations, Ken Sebahar is very excited about the new application launch,

All the user needs is a browser and an internet connection. The SSI Mobile Sales App uses a real-time connection
to read and write data to the NAV database. It does not use any custom or proprietary middleware software that would need to be purchased and maintained, and there is no batch updating or synchronization of data.

The application requires NAV 2009 SP1 or above to connect. There is no additional annual enhancement plan fees associated with this application. Full source code is provided with the solution, so it can be modified as needed with or without the support of Solution Systems. It can be extended to any data currently stored and maintained within your Dynamics NAV database.
