A group of teens have found a new place to showcase their artwork a week after claiming celebrity chef Charlie Trotter tossed them out of the space originally meant for the exhibit.

The After School Matters photography exhibit has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Artists Frame Service in Lincoln Park.

Trotter had agreed to let the teens use the space formerly occupied by his namesake restaurant for the art show, but the famously prickly chef was offended when the group’s instructor refused to order his students to sweep the floors and plunge the toilets.

The students were kicked out of the restaurant with their artwork and electronic equipment inside, but were able to retrieve it the next day.

Trotter sits on the After School Matters board.
