Two Finalists Vying to Manage the Illinois Lottery Make Their Case

The two finalists vying to manage the Illinois Lottery made their case in Chicago today.

The two international companies gave their ideas on how they’d attract new players.

Jeff Cramer is a former U.S. prosecutor hired by the state to investigate the companies and the bidding process.

CRAMER: I am here to attest to the fact that whichever finalist wins, the State of Illinois will be comfortable they’ll know with whom they are doing business. Not just the companies, but the individual people.

Governor Pat Quinn is expected to select one of the two finalists next week.

The two finalists are Northstar Lottery Group which is a partnership between three existing companies and Camelot, operator of the United Kingdom’s lottery.
