FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. (STMW) — The residents of a Franklin Park home were rolled up in rugs and made to stay on the floor of their home during a home invasion in the near northwest suburb last Tuesday.
About 4:45 p.m. on March 9, two men entered a home on the 3200 block of Rose Street through an unlocked basement door, Franklin Park Police Deputy Chief Mike Witz said.
“They rolled the occupants up in rugs and told them to stay on the floor,” Witz said. “Two of the occupants were children.”
The two invaders spent the next 45 minutes searching the house. Police don’t know if they took anything or if the two men were armed.
No one was injured. Police were still investigating Monday.
