President Obama was in no mood to deal with the press Wednesday while vacationing with his family in Martha’s Vineyard.
During a stop for lunch at Nancy’s Restaurant in the Oak Bluffs section of the Massachusetts island, ABC’s Jake Tapper reports that members of the press yelled out several questions for the president, including one about the war in Iraq.
The president’s response?
“We’re buying shrimp, guys,” the president said, smiling. “Come on.”
The president is scheduled to deliver an Oval Office address on the war Tuesday, the eve of the administration’s scheduled Sept. 1 deadline for a U.S. troop drawdown in Iraq.
