Department of Defense Renews Sittercity Program to Provide Funded Memberships for Military Families

CHICAGO, Aug. 3, 2011 /CHICAGOPRESSRELEASE.COM/ — The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has once again chosen Sittercity’s Corporate Program to help hundreds of thousands of military families across the nation find in-home caregivers. Sittercity is America’s largest and most trusted online solution connecting families with high-quality, local babysitters, nannies, elder care providers, dog walkers and more, with nearly 2 million caregivers nationwide.

Since the Sittercity Military Program launched in January of 2010, Sittercity has helped tens-of-thousands of military families find the right caregiver for their family. In fact, Sittercity connects a caregiver with a military family every nine minutes.

“Sittercity is honored to continue working with the Department of Defense,” said Martin Clifford, Sittercity CEO. “The challenges military families face in serving their country while caring for their family are significant and we are proud serve them and be a part of their support system.”

Eligible military families can activate their paid Sittercity membership at www.sittercity.com/dod.

  1. How did you make a site look this sick! Email me if you can and share your wisdom. Id be thankful.

  2. I do not truly treatment how or after i get the Letters in the Mail. Every time it arrives, it feels like a letter should be. It’s suddenly there in my mail box a single day. A awesome, tangible surprise. I’m for you doing whatever you want when you send it. Mix it up to the men and women who help get it sent out. Include crumbs from your lunch. Coffee stains. Whatever. Keep the tedious character of getting letters out to a minimum by doing whatever you feel like that day. The arrival with the letter and the words on the author inside are what matters. Personally, what I like best about The Rumpus is that I by no means know what I’ll read through that day. Or if there isn’t really one which day, maybe it’s because Stephen couldn’t discover anything to say or there was as well much going on.
