2011 OTSD Winning Schools Will Experience Dynamic, Hands-On Training Courses Taught by Professional Drivers
CHICAGO (CHICAGOPRESSRELEASE.COM) – The Illinois Department of Transportation, Ford Motor Company Fund and partners are gearing up to host the 2011 “Driving Skills for Life Ride and Drive” event at U.S. Cellular Field on Thursday, April 21.
As part of the 2011 Operation Teen Safe Driving program, students from the top five schools of each region will participate in dynamic hands-on training courses taught by professional drivers to further demonstrate and improve critical driving skills associated with hazard recognition, accident avoidance, vehicle handling, skid control and speed/space management.
