CHICAGO, Feb. 2, 2011 /CHICAGOPRESSRELEASE.COM/ — Language Stars LLC, America’s leading provider of early foreign language learning, is partnering with E.nopi Math Reading learning centers in the Tri-State metro area to bring full-immersion Spanish programs for kids to six locations in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Language Stars currently offers its FunImmersion® foreign language programs for kids ages 1-10 at 18 locations in Chicago and Washington, DC, as well as more than 100 school-based programs. The new locations in the Tri-State area are located in: Armonk, NY; Greenwich, CT; Mamaroneck, NY; Park Ridge, NJ; Rye Brook, NY; and Scarsdale, NY.
Language Stars will provide Spanish Parents & Tots classes for children ages 1-3 and Kids Only classes for ages 3-5 and 5-8 at the six Tri-State E.nopi Centers. Classes are taught by native speakers, allowing kids to learn foreign language with authentic accents and expand their multicultural horizons. Their FunImmersion® technique incorporates more than 800 activities consisting of play, movement, and music to help students learn without realizing they are learning.
“Language Stars is delighted to be partnering with E.nopi to bring top-quality foreign language immersion to the children of its Tri-State area centers,” said Leslie Lancry, Language Stars Founder and CEO. “E.nopi shares our undying commitment to investing in a child’s future with the critical skills that will make a world of difference in the future.”
“E.nopi is thrilled to be partnering with Language Stars to provide high quality foreign language instruction to the children of the communities we serve in the NYC tri-state area,” said Al Diaz, President of E.nopi Math Reading, a company with interests in nine E.nopi learning centers. “Language Stars shares our philosophy and love for education as well as our belief that children learn more effectively in a fun and engaging environment.”
Language Stars focuses on a child’s “window of opportunity” before the age of 10 when the young brain is inherently flexible and uniquely hard-wired to acquire language naturally. At these ages, learning a second language is cognitively as easy as learning a first language. The benefits extend far beyond this age group, as studies have shown multi-lingual education results in everything from increased math skills and SAT scores to greater cultural sensitivity and even the potential to stave off dementia in later life.
Meanwhile, the company is pleased about its own “window of opportunity” to take a fun, educational, mission-oriented business to a new level by expanding into additional regions of the U.S. “We’re excited about this next new chapter in our company,” says Lancry, “and we’re looking forward to serving a whole new group of parents and children in the Tri-State area with the help of our friends at E.nopi!”
