UL Warns of Unauthorized UL Marks on Compact Fluorescent Lamp

NORTHBROOK, Ill., Sept. 23, 2011 /CHICAGOPRESSRELEASE.COM/ — UL is notifying consumers and retailers that the compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) identified below bears an unauthorized UL Mark for the United States and Canada.

The CFL has not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate Standard for Safety and it is unknown if this CFL complies with UL safety requirements for the United States or Canada.
