The Salvation Army’s Starlighter Dinner Signals Opening of the Red Kettle Christmas Campaign
This annual event recognizes Army’s friends and donors for their continued support and signals the beginning of the Red Kettle Christmas Campaign, which generates nearly 70 percent of the funds used year round to provide programs and services to people in need.
This year’s campaign goal is $12 million.
Emcee for the evening will be Phil Rogers of NBC5.
This year’s corporate award will be presented to Bank of America in recognition of the many years of support the bank has provided to The Salvation Army.
Accepting the award will be Tim Maloney, Illinois State President, Bank of America.
