White Sox Launch Charities Donation Web Site; Fans Can Now Donate Online Directly to Chicago White Sox Charities
The Chicago White Sox today launched a new page on the team Web site that provides fans the opportunity to donate directly to Chicago White Sox Charities.
Fans can visit whitesox.com/donate and contribute funds directly to the White Sox philanthropic arm, which supports hundreds of Chicago-based organizations.
Through White Sox Charities, along with the team’s year-round community relations efforts, the White Sox work to improve the quality of life for Chicagoans of all ages, races and genders.
With the generous support of White Sox fans, friends and corporate partners, White Sox Charities has donated more than $16.5 million to Chicagoland organizations since its inception in 1990.
Chicago White Sox Charities offers support to organizations leading the fight against cancer, dedicated to improving the lives of youth through education and athletics, and those offering support to children and families in crisis.
Donors can direct their on-line donations to specific initiatives.
For more information on the White Sox charitable and community initiatives, or to make a donation to White Sox Charities, fans should visit whitesox.com/community or whitesox.com/donate.
