Cleared by Conrad kicks off social media-based canned food drive

CHICAGO (CHICAGOPRESSRELEASE.COM) — Cleared by Conrad—an innovative local business that empowers property owners to take control of bed bug problems—is taking the expression “man’s best friend” to another level.

In addition to being Chicago’s leading canine bed bug detection service, Cleared by Conrad is kick starting a unique and exciting initiative to feed the hungry in Chicago.

The initiative, which aims to donate thousands of cans of food to the Greater Chicago Food Depository, leverages Cleared by Conrad’s social media presence to make a difference in the community.

Led by Prince Conrad—a highly trained, gentle, and friendly 22-pound beagle—Cleared by Conrad provides accurate and reasonably priced services that help customers avoid major bed bug problems in their homes or other properties.

Prince Conrad, a rescue dog from Animal Haven Shelter in Shawnee, Kansas, completed his extensive bed bug detection training program at the renowned Iron-Heart Canine Training Facility in Kansas City. He now helps property owners in the Chicagoland area and across the Midwest take control of their bed bug problems.

In an effort to offer a different kind of support to the Chicagoland community at large, Cleared by Conrad is sponsoring a fun, easy, and interactive social media-based food drive that is open to everyone.

For every individual who becomes a friend of Prince Conrad on Facebook and signs up for Cleared by Conrad’s mailing list, one can of food will be donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. If Prince Conrad reaches his goal of 2,000 Facebook friends, Cleared by Conrad will also make a pet food donation equal to 25% of the total number of friends.
