Emanuel has about $2M remaining in campaign fund after successful bid for Chicago mayor
Former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel still has an estimated $2.1 million left in his campaign fund after winning the Chicago mayor’s race. The campaign put together the figure following questions from reporters after Emanuel said he would lend a hand in some aldermanic runoff races in April. Spokesman Ben LaBolt said the final tally could still vary a bit. Emanuel started January with $8.3 million on hand for his mayoral bid.
