VIENNA – Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage, the frequent star of gangster thrillers, called Thursday for a united fight against organized crime. Cage, a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for Global Justice, said the threat posed by criminal networks is too big for communities or states to confront on their own and that countries must work together to battle it.

Nadine Alexie said Tuesday that she was vigilant about the medications Smith was taking because she was studying to be a pharmacy technician, and had made lists of Smith’s drugs.
