Mokena eyes affordable senior housing

Mokena officials are eyeing a proposal that would bring the first affordable senior housing development to the village. The Partnership for Income Restricted Housing Leadership, a Cleveland-based developer of affordable housing, is pitching a senior housing project for a site on LaPorte Road just west of Wolf Road, village director of economic and community development Alan Zordan said.
