Downtown redevelopment, Loves Park tax part of busy weekend

‘Downtown is coming back’ with the optimism of business owners
Three decades of downtown-related efforts, studies and plans have not produced the revitalization of a city center that’s been so long sought. SupplyCore CEO Peter Provenzano said that while those past efforts have come up with great ideas to revive downtown, they were mostly disconnected from investment and political will.
