Illinois Governor Pat Quinn focused on union workers and their families Monday during a series of campaign rallies across the state. With most of the stops at union halls, his theme was “Putting Illinois Back to Work.” During a stop in Rock Island, the Democratic governor told members and their families from at least seven unions in the Quad Cities that they are “the heart and soul of the middle class” in Illinois.
